Call Macy's Credit Customer Service and explain the situation. You can dispute the charge with them. Usually these are fixed easily and quickly.

how to resolve your issue

your probably the victim of Id Theft.. You need to first call Macy's customer service and explain you never made the purchase (or never had a card with them etc) and ask them to place a hold on whatever account they have for you from future purchases..

write a letter via certified Mail to Macy's bank.. then you need to contact all three credit bureau's and place a fraud alert.. so new credit cards can't be opened in your name without them actually confirming it's you..

if you ignore the situation.. it could end us with you being fired from your current job (or unable to get a new one) especially if the collections agency sues you and you never show up in ... and they get a garnishment order on your paycheck some employers this is an automatic termination as the paperwork to comply is complex and they dont think your worth it..
