Magazine Services Of America, Luebke, Baker & Associates harrassment, fraudulent, ripoff, illegal actions, violated Margate Florida

These people are disgusting. 3 months ago we started receiving harassing phone calls from Luebke, Baker and Associates. They claimed they were calling to collect a $400 debt on behalf of Magazine Services of America - a debt going back to 2001! Supposedly we signed up for magazine subscriptions for the past 5 years and never paid the bill.

Confused and irritated, we prodded them for more information and demanded proof and documentation be sent to us. "We don't have any magazine subscriptions period, and have never been sent a bill regarding this." They "noted the account" and said it'd be sent out right away. I now know that "noting the account" simply means they're logging the call/date and nothing more.

Between the 2 of us, we have spoken to at least 10 reps from this organization, each time trying to collect a debt. They've never sent any documentation to us for proof, they just keep harassing. The number that comes up on my phone is: 800-258-6587 and 360-362-5462. I called it back, only to get an automated operator, saying that the area code has changed to (602) which is my local area code...they've covered their tracks very well.
