at its best!

The salesman who set this up was totally missleading. He said this was publishers clearinghouse and I had won a FREE gold men or womens watch with a genuine diamond. He then offered the magazines and led me to believe that it was only $49.90 a year for 3 years.

Had I realized that I would be charged $49.90 a month for 3 years there is no way I would have signed up. It is totally ludicrous to even consider paying that much. After reviewing my card charges for the past 3 months I saw that they had charged me $49.90 for the past 3 months so I called to find out what the problem was and to cancel if this was the actual charges.

The woman I spoke to was extremely rude and virtualy threatened me. I told her I wanted all magazines cancelled immediately. I was treated like a complete ass and told I verbally agreed and the order could NOT be canceled. She said if I cancelled I would be billed for the entire 3 years and if I did not pay I would be sued and reported to the credit agency. She said they had me on a recording and that I agreed to this and had to abide by it.

The magazines that I recieved for the first two months were already 2 months behind and I never recieved that "$200 watch with the genuine diamond in it."

I do not intend to stand by idly while they rip me off. It is a total shame that companies like this employ sales people who mislead you in order to make a sell and it's also a shame there's people out there who accept these positions knowing what they are doing..

Hey there Lola,

I too was frauded by this company a few onths ago...I posted a rip-off report about what I did to SOLVE this problem as well...You can scan back over the other reports and you will see one that clearly says something about how they messed with the wrong kid...lol that's mine =) Check it out and you can see what I did to get these people off my case...My bank also took the money they had stolen from me away from them and put it back into my account..you might want to go and turn in something to your bank to cancel payments and to also get payments back...I hope this helps somehow!
