On Monday August 27 2012, my MagicJack Plus was disconnected and tried to locate a company phone but was unsucessful.

On Wednesday August 29 2012, logged in at my MagicJack account and found no contact information so I started an only means of comunication, a chat session as follows:

Angelica: Hello, how may I help you?

J C: Hi, good evening. I've been having a problem with my magic jack plus since yesterday. I get a dial tone, but when trying to make a call there's a message saying to please try again later. When I call this number, it says that the number is not active. Can I call someone to trouble shoot my problem?

Angelica: I see.

Angelica: Is this your Phone number 407-XXX-XXXX?

J C: Yes

Angelica: Thank you for that clarification.

Angelica: Please wait while I check that for you

Angelica: Thank you for waiting.

Angelica: As I have checked it here in our end, the account with the magicjack phone number 407-XXX-XXXX has been tagged to have violated the "Terms of service".

Angelica: as per Terms of Service and Software License Agreement for magicJack, LP and YMAX Communications Corporation. http://www.magicjack.com/tos/

Angelica: 6. Proper Use : f magicJack, LP and/or magicJack VocalTec Ltd., and/or YMax Communications Corporation sees excessive use, including but not limited to, a customer whose usage is twenty (20) times more than the average magicJack and/or magicJack Plus device or magicJack APP customer usage, or a customer who calls more than 50 different telephone numbers per day, or a customer who forwards calls from their magicJack and/or magicJack PLUS device and/or magicJack APP to a non-magicJack number for longer than a two week consecutive period, or systematic or intentional misuse, it reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate your use of the magicJack and/or magicJack Plus device and/or Software and/or magicJack APP immediately, and you will not be entitled to get a refund of any licensing fee or any other fee you may have paid to us.

Angelica: I have not heard from you in a while. Do you wish to continue this chat session?

J C: I don't use my magic jack much and don't have any fowarding to any number plus there's only 3 to 5 phone number usage per day that my wife only uses. I'm all day at work and use my cell phone instead when I'm home. My wife also uses her cell phone too. This service is only as a backup should our cell phones fail. Can I get an email with the calls or violation that states my situation?

Angelica: I regret to say t\here is nothing you can do to reverse the action because you violated the Terms of service.

J C: When I chose this service, I did not know about this.

J C: Is there a phone number I can call tomorow?

Angelica: We only do 24/7 chat support here, JC.

J C: I think this is unfair, when this was an unlimited service, I though this was perfect, but I think is not. I will facebook my friends to not get this service, I was refering lots of my friends, but I will back off for now

Angelica: Okay.

Angelica: Is there anything else you want to clarify, JC?

J C: Can I dispute this or get my call history that shows my violation?

Angelica: You may do try to check in your account at my.magicjack.com for that.

J C: Ok. But I didnt see anything of any sort.

Angelica: Okay. The system may have cancelled already the listed Call logs on your account, JC.

J C: Why I was not informed of my cancelation, at least a courtesy call or an email or letter?

Angelica: One moment please...

Angelica: The System will automatically detect the call usage that is being made with the account.

J C: Like I said, I was not informed of such violation and never imagined of doing so. As a corporation company a courtesy of such usage or warning should of took place. Now as a customer, I will have to pay for such incompetence.

Angelica: Okay.

Angelica: I believe that I have already provided you all the information needed; I would like to ask permission to end this conversation with you. Thank you.
