My current contract is/was through 2 five year extentions. But all that was cancelled because according to them..
Terms of Service: Section 6: Proper Use: If magicJack sees excessive use, including but not limited to, a customer whose usage is twenty (20) times more than the average magicJack's customer's usage, or a customer who calls more than 50 different telephone numbers per day, or systematic or intentional misuse, the magicJack may be terminated.
How curious I was never told what an average magicjack customer uses, or got a warning and was just cut off. Plus, my agreement does not mention 50 different numbers (which is not rellevant)..
If magicJack sees excessive use, including but not limited to, a customer whose usage is twenty (20) times more than the average magicJack's customers usage, or systematic or intentional misuse, it reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate your use of the magicJack device and/or Software immediately, and you will not be entitled to get a refund of any licensing fee or any other fee you may have paid to us.
Sooooo, I am out many years of PAID service for ZERO reason. Please feel free to report if you have a similar experience with this ripoff company!

Truthfully in regards to your complain, this is valid reason for a complaint. They do NOT say in the infomercial anything about limits or otherwise. They say it's 100% free inbound/outbound calls after you pay for the Magic Jack box and the one year/five year fee.
If anyone ever opens a lawsuit I want to be included. I was just banned from calling any number in my local area. I live in a area code that is very small and never make more than a few calls a week in my particular area code if that. I mainly call my mother two to five times a week 800 miles away, and talk on average 2-5 hours each call. So really?
I want a lawsuit!
