Wer u able to watch the undercover bust that XXX (imbestigador's counterpart at chan2) did to the postal office in manila ? I have several items that I pick up in our postal office (also las pinas)mostly items that i buy from ebay.com
First was an oakley prescription glass - they charged me Php1800 for taxes and duties. After a "friendly conversation" the custom officer told me that she'll gve me a discnt, so from 1800 it was reduced to 500 (w/o OR of course). Second parcel that I claimed was a ring, declared as a gift. Taxes and duties Php 2, 200. Discounted price Php 800.
SO after the bust that XXX made, i thought that the postal office will be more strict and wld play by the book.
3rd parcel came, a set of tiffany jewelry - after paying my P35 for the postal exp. The customs officer (yep she's also the same person being scrutinzed in the XXX bust ) proceeded on checking my item, after asking me about the declared value, I thought OH my here goes my TAX charges - when i was about to get my wallet she handed a paper to me, then said "basahin nyo nalang yang reminders, ok na to" Then the postal officer gave my package. I left with a BIG ? on my face, then realized that oooohhhhh the XXX bust!!!
I guess they learned their lesson -- the hard way! So if your postal office was corrupted before? TRY making a complaint to Imbestigador, isumbong mo kay Tulfo or XXX. Or try making a conversation with someone and talk about the Manila Post Office window 124 bust (juz make sure they can hear you hehe!)
It worked for our postal office eh! hehe Sana mabigyan ulit natin ng lesson ang mga tarantadong custom officer ng window 124 of Manila Post office . kaya humanda na kayong lahat
