I purchased an 8GB Sony Memory Stick Pro Duo card from eMartcentral.com. I received the card and didn't use it for two weeks. After putting it in my new Sony Cybershot camera, it was defective. I contacted them, and they told me to format the card, which I thought was odd considering that it was supposed to be new. I did so, but still nothing. I asked for a refund, since I had to go and purchase one from a local shop to use my new camera for a special event, but was denied. Even though it was still within the 60 day written policy they have on thier site, which they since have altered and changed. I sent the card back to them, and waited three weeks until another was sent. The second one was as defective as the first. I got suspicious and called Sony, the tech suspected that the card was a fake. I sent it back to them and after three weeks, I got into a heated e-mail exchange with them over were my new card is at. They claim they needed to look for it at the local post office. After which they sarcastically said that because of my heated e-mails they were going to "enthusiastically search for my returned package" Until then I am out a card and $45.00. I called the bank and also Paypal, to recoup my lose. I have read three other Ripoff reports on eMartcentral.com and there is a trend with these people of defrauding consumers out of legitmate products and money. In my case add the actual product! So I as of now have nothing to show for my purchase, not even a fake non-working card.

I have been in an email exchange of childish incomplete sentence jibberish all day. Were you actually getting thought out emails, or were they two to three word exchanges? I have reported them to the Federal Trade Commission, the BBB of Boston, and my bank has opened a fraud investigation. where are you at with your complaint?
