Okay first off i went in to get a rim and two tires and an oil change done on my 2007 chevy colbolt. well my mom decided hey we should look for a bigger car for you. i said okay and we took a look at a chevy impala. i went through the process of the deal. spoke with sales sales manager and financial manager. When i agreeed to the deal they had they told me Congratulations and the service bill will be taken care of. So i said cool. My dad and my mother was there as well and spoke to them too all was a go. We transfered all my stuff to the new car and switched plates and everything. Also told me that it was with South Carolina Credit Union and if i pay on my balance a year my monthly would go down. So in parents and my heads is I got the car everything is cleared and i get to go off the lot with my car. So i went to change my insurance and everything the next day. My mom said well since they paid for the service bill ill pay for daycare for the next two weeks so i thought that was a fair trade. I was soo happy. Come about 5 days later financial manager calls and said hey can you come in and sign some more papers i was like sure okay. So i was in the middle of moving and i was in the area so i stopped by. They tell me i need more money or a cosigner. I said what i don't have one why you wait this long to tell me. So i told them ill be in next day. Went the next day and they said well if you can't get either then we need our car back and you owe a $320 bill thats outstanding in services. I was like hold on what i thought you took care of that. He said no since you didn't get the car you got to owe the balance. Which is understandable if they had advised me that i didn't get anything set in stone. I just thought it was soooo wrong how they didn't think of my feelings and just thought of the money. Nobody told us that it wasn't set in stone yet and it took 5 days to tell me. Mclveen advised me every step of the way it took 3 days but they told me not to do anything with my insurance or sign any paper work until i got the bank to accept the offer. In a way it was a good thing because they taught me to be more cautious of everything. They are con men for real. N you know what tips me more off is they had no heart and they said they did nothing wrong. They did. They should have said nothing was set in stone and to wait for a phone call when it is. Don't say Congradulations at all until its done deal is accepted n evrything.
