maria is a 'real' person in france, born in italy. There is much written about her and her scams on the net.
She sold the business after scamming people out of millions for years (decades) to a chinese company who is now trying to get their investment money back. She sold them personal information of her clients as well. She ofcourse blames her victims in whatever way possible.
Don't let this scam artist win.
They take advantage of internaltional loop holes. Fight to get them closed, complain to congress , whatever it takes.
