I have dealt with Maria's birds for a few years now and have gotten several birds from her. They are beautiful, healthy birds that are well fed, and well taken care of. She loves her birds and does a great job with them. We need more people like her. The bad remarks written about her are truly false and made by someone who is jealous. I have never had an issue with any of her birds.

Maria's Birds is a nurturing breeder and a lover of birds. All i've ever seen from her are healthy happy birds and i've been very pleased with every feathered family member!!!! <3

Maria is VERY well educated and knows her birds! the "Woman" that posted this is a known scammer!!!
I see the Babies that Maria sells and they are among the healthiest birds I have seen!!
With myself in LAW ENFORCEMENT, would never do business with someone that would do the things Maria is accused of doing. This has me VERY heated!!!

Maria's Birds is a WONDERFUL business and has the BEST loving babies ever!!!
They are raised with LOVE and NEVER ABUSED! Dont listen to this lady as she is a scammer!!
I am in Law Enforcement and would not do business with someone unless they are legit.

Maria's birds are wonderful and great.They are healthy and well taken care of. She is a nice honest and caring women.The first parrot I ever gotten was from her .it was a greencheek conure and she was a wonderful pet and healthy and if I ever needed anything or need help with greencheek she was always thier to help she always looked out for her birds even if they found a home .also made sure they found a great home.I would recommend anyone that was interested in parrots her birds are 100% healthy and 100% well taken care of.

It hurts to see someone viciously attacking this young lady. I bought a parrot from her in October of 2010. Maria was wonderful to work with. Her family worked alongside her as she taught me over several weeks how to care for a parrot.
I had never owned anything other than finches, but always wanted a parrot. They made arrangements for me to visit my bird when she was a baby. We met weekly for several months. I was taught the importance of washing my hands before handling the bird to prevent the baby bird from getting sick. They made sure I remembered to wash my hands every time. I was given a diet recommendation to follow, and learned how to train the bird.
After that, Maria was there for me when I had questions. She always made me feel welcome, and answered my bird questions in a timely manner. My experience with her was great. Her standards are high, and she and her family had years of experience to guide me. I did not take my bird home until she was sure it was okay. I now have a healthy, happy parrot that I have been waiting my whole life for!

I purchased a Amazon baby parrot from Maria and I'm so glad I did! I have a healthy and happy bird that is the sweetiest little guy!. Maria was extremely nice and pleasant to work with. All her birds are well taken care of and she has kept in contact with me even after I brought my bird home, she's made sure all is going well. I can't believe the negative allegations, Maria runs a very professional business and is someone who loves and takes great care of her animals even after they have been sold.

I am Disgusted that someone would make a claim like this against Maria Lucia Dawe
from mariasbirds.com. she is educated about her birds and also very
dedicated ! i would get a feather baby from maria in heartbeat and will continue to plan on buying from her in the future, she hand raises the sweetest happiest baby birds !
i would like to see proof that she willingly and knowingly sold a sick bird to whomever filed this claim..
because i will not believe it till i see PROOF!!

I have a great experience with Maria. I talked to many people before choosing her. And no one that I spoke with had a bad word to say about her. I have asked her many questions and she is patient with me. And has always gotten back to me very quickly. Her birds are very well socialized and sweet. And many breeders dont take the time she does with her birds. Please ask other people before making a judgement on one persons bad experience!
