Contacted by him (Mark Eric Hobbs from Addy, Washington) via zoosk. Asking you to get ahold of him leaves email and phone number. 518-952-0164. Later will ask you to sign up on yahoo to instant message each other. At this time his email address is mark.hobbs36 at yahoo. But after doing some research seems he uses many different names, emails, and phone numbers.
He started by telling me he couldn't meet me because his mom was in the hospital in Turkey. Him and his 3 year old daughter were there to take care of her. Says he is an only son, never been married, engaged once, but she died two years ago from lung cancer "cos she smoked alot." Has had one girlfriend since then but broke it off with her because "he caught her creeping around with best friend." He will profess to love you within the first week. Tell you he has been looking for the love of his life and he found her with you. Sweet talk you by calling you babe, sweetie etc. Will not want you to call him for unknown reason, just text or yahoo instant message.
He will then ask for money for medication for his mom. This time he said the Doctor asked him to pay for the pain rx before her surgery 2 days away. He asked me for 400$. But from what I have researched he will ask for various amounts. He will promise to pay you back as soon as he gets back to the states with his mother and daughter. When he gets back to YOU, THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE. He will ask you to western union any amount of money you can help with to:

Fortunately, I did not send him any money. But instead did a little research on the good ol web prior to. Knowing BEWARE! when anyone asks you for money on the web(especially when you havn't met them or have known them for a short time)
You can search on google, yahoo, etc the receiver name Ige Jamiu and read some other scam information from this person.
I did a trace on the ip address he used to send me emails and they were flagged in Project Honey as a malicious. Also when doing a location search on his ip address it came up in Lagos Nigeria. Latitude 6.4531 Longitude 3.3958 off Massey Street.

EVERYTHING you said I agree 100% with, because it just happened to me. (today in fact) only his name was Ashton George Gotzone tel: 703-951-7091 - yahoo id: smilealways601@yahoo.com And his mother is still in the hospital, but only from a car accident.
He gave me the exact pictures as you posted, plus a few more.
He asked me for $900.00 via western Union. of course I didn't send it.
These "Romance scams" are getting to be out of control. Something needs to be done.
And sadly, its not just the Nigerians
Please DO NOT send anyone money!!!! I know too many good women who have been scammed this way.

I almost got taken in by not one but two of these Nigerian scammers. I wish I had been able to find their ip addresses like you did! I commend you on your skills and smarts. There is a site called Romancescams.com which has been a great help to many. Check it out and take care.

Someone had stated in another complaint about this person that when she had sent him money to his alleged name instead of the "doctors" name he had given her of "Ige Jamiu," he became angry and demanded that she immediately fix her error. I realized, when having money wired, he must be using his real name. So I searched facebook for the name Ige Jamiu. And guess what I found .....Colored man named Ige Jamiu who lives in Istanbul, Turkey. Also from Lagos, Nigeria. Many photos, many friends established in that location. I text him asking "who was the person in pictures he sent, considering he was a black man in Nigeria?" Havn't heard from him since that as of yet.
