I purchased a recliner from Marlo in February 2006. They set up 2 different delilvery dates and did not show up, when I called they said it was a mistake that the recliner was on back order. I finally received it at the end of April. I also purchased a set of glass end tables in Febrary that were delivered at the beginning of April. They came in boxes that were taped to death and the driver left these in my living room knowing they were shattered. I called customer service and in June I finally received my end tabels. In August I called customer service and told them my recliner was coming apart at the seams. they sent out a tech who said they would be replaced within a week or so. Then I recieve a report stating that they would not be replacing the recliner because we had a dog and the recliner looked soiled and smelled. I called and raised cain with the tech and they sent out a new tech in October who put in writing that the recliner looked brand new, no stains and no odor. It is now December 2 and I have received no letter, call or replacement. I have called several times and they put me off and tell me they will have a supervisor call me, well guess what....Thats Marlo's customer service, no call. For my troubles they mailed me a 50.00 gift certificate in July, like I would ever buy anything from them again. They knew this from our conversation that they lost a customer and that is how they thought they could make me go away. My salesperson didnt mind his commission but he doesnt think I deserve a return call from one of my MANY messsages I have left him.
