This company said that they were sending me the money that they owed me. However they have not. They also deleted some of my pictures and re-did the invoice. I see this as a serious fraud problem. They hire subcontractors that do not know building codes then try to back-charge other contractors while requiring the subcontractors to carry E&O insurance (Errors and Omisson insurance). They have put work on my account even after I told them that I was not working for them anymore. One big complaint I have with them is that they can not get my pay straight. My February check was almost $2000 short and then they failed to pay me more tham $2500 in March for the other work that I completed.

They also took some of my work orders and put them on hold. Why, I do not know. I have caught them is several outright lies and the owner Tom Neimiller lied right to my face about increracing my pay and paying for gas on out of area work orders. He said that they would pay for gas in July and never told the person doing the accounting until November. Then, he would not pay all of them. One job consisted of 32 truck load of debris that needed to be taken more than 50 miles one way to a landfill. He said that he would not pay the $500 in gas that it required. He says that I quit however I have emails I sent them informing them that I FIRED them. The company subcontracts from other national mortgage service companies like Mortgage Contracting service, Safeguard, Countrywide and others.

they did not respond to a complaint with the Balitmore BBB and now I have filed a complaint with the Maryland State Attorney Generals office. I encourage anyone that has been ripped-off by this compay to contact me and or the Maryland State Attorney Generals Office. Thye work on all types of home mostly dealing with foreclosures and repos including HUD and FHA loans. they also started leasing me a truck, traile and mower in October and Tom never brought or sent me the contract that he said he would. Do not believe anything this man says without a written and recorded statement to prove he said it. I believe that they owe me more than $8000 between the unpaid work, gas receipts, work orders put on hold and a refund for their failure to bring me a lease contract. My contractor number is 101 and they probably ripped-off many more contractors.

If you are hiring worker hourly even you must pay the prevailing rate. I would not work for you or Tom. frankly, I do not know who you are and I do NOT care. I have the proof that MRES is not honest .... As far as I know this could be Tom ...since you have not given your name and contact info. And You are out on a limb. I am not pissed at you, unless this is Tom or one of his minions spoofing this site. And you are miss-informed about the rates. I know that HMBI has the contract. they just got it last year from another company. Please send me your contact info through this site. That is if you have nothing to hide ........

Why are you pissed at me?

I have never did anything to you nor will I ever do anything to help you with that attitude. I thought maybe I could have set you up with one of the other 7 companies I work for. Or if you could not get in with them right off, I could expand my area with some of them and give you the work in your area. Not with that type of attitude.

I've been in this business for over 7 years. I can give you the link to the HUD price list if you want. You apparently don't know how things work. All Virginia HUD work is distribute thur one company HMBI(If you don't believe me look at HUD's web site). Next is Mortgage Contracting (or who ever else, just an example) which gets their cut. Then MRES which gets their cut. Then comes YOU and ME. We are at the bottom of the ladder. The higher up the ladder we go the more middle men we cut out, there for we get a bigger piece of the pie.

Also in return for more work volume allot of complies ask for a 20 to 25 percent discount, which in turns drops the $50 per cyds to $37.50 to $40.00 per cyds. MRES is not the only company I contract for, I work for 8 different companies. I make $35 per cyds for debris removal with some companies, but MRES gets me more work per month.

I know why my pay has been off over the past few months and when I show MRES the problem they make the pay up the next month. Have even issued me a separate check for what they owed me.

As far as the handshake and Virginia law, that is my point I worked 9 months and at any point Tom could have quit paying me and I would not have had a leg to stand on. That would have been $8000 to $10000 for that month plus all the jobs I had completed up to the 15th when I should have been paid, gone with no way of getting my money.

They owe you money, fine be pissed at them not me. The education lesson above on how this business works is free. I HOPE YOU THE BEST, a little advice when someone is trying to take the time to help you, don't let your emotions get the best of you, see what they are offering before you go off the deep end. I will not reply back after this post, as this is a obvious waste of my time.

How dumb are you?

AUTHOR: Mitchell - (U.S.A.)

I see from reading your comment rebutal that you do not know what you are talking about. They have not respect to honor any contract anyway. I am starting a suit against them. They have put me through such hardship that I had to shut my business down. You evidently do NOT know the law in Virginia. Your handshake is not worth the anything in court or anywhere else. If you are working for Tom without a contract you have given me another thing to hit them on. Tom says a lot of thing but he never follows them through. The PAY is a joke within the mortgage industry. Clearly you do not know that Tom is making twice as much as you do on a job and you are picking up all of the variable costs (if you know what a variable cost is) associated with the job. For example the new HUD debris removal rate is $50 per cubic yard and you get $16 and have to pay the dump fee. Tom is getting $75 per lock change; $75 for a winterization; Roof tarping is paying $250 to $450. I also would like to talk to you. I can have my private eye or an attorney call you. And if you are working an hourly rate Tom must by federal law pay you prevaling wage as stated in the Beacon-davis act. I bet you did not know that. You should see some of the work that they back-charged me for .... maybe you did it? I don't know but they back-charged me for work that was done that was NOT required by the local building code. What moron would even bill let alone approve and back-charge a contractor for a HANDRAIL ON ONE STEP!!!!!!!! You might be one of the contractors that know nothing about construction or the going rates for work. AND THEY LIE OUTRIGHT TO THEIR CONTRACTORS! I HAVE THE EVIDENCE IN MY EMAILS THAT I SAVED TO A CD AND GAVE TO MY ATTORNEYS. If you know of any other contractors that Tom had problems with I would like to talk to them. Post their names and email addresses on this site.

Past and Now again Current Employee

Henry, I think we meet at a company meeting in Maryland early last year. If I'm correct you are from Richmond. Since that time I quit took a local job and I am now again working with MRES. The first time I was with the company everything was fine, always paid the correct amount and on time, this time things are not as good.

Don't want to give details because I'm currently still contracting for them. Lets just say pay has been short from time to time and also late on occasions. I think the company is going thur alot of internal changes, there for unorganized. I'm not trying to up hold them, if they owe you money YOU SHOULD GET YOUR MONEY.

As far as Tom Neimiller he has always been a man of his work to me. I work for him for over 9 months on a verbal agreement and a handshake, paid the correct amount and on time every month. They did not even have my SS# till the end of the year when tax time came, just a name and address to send the check is all they had.

Henry I would like to talk to you about this if you could contact me, maybe I can help in some way.
