Well folks, I just found out that I am stuck in a binding contract with Massage Envy for the next year. I asked the girl at the front desk if there were any cancellation fees, or fine print regarding cancellation that I should be aware of and she told me no. When I signed the contract I was under the impression, based on what the front desk girl told me, that I could cancel at any time (I consider what I was told a verbal contract that precedes the written contract).

Turns out that is not the case. The only way they will let you out of the contract is if you have to move, otherwise I'm stuck with it until the contract is up. I had zero issue with this company until they pulled this shady business maneuver. If you are going to go here, DO NOT, sign the contract unless you are 100% OK with the fine print. Two thumbs down. Way down. All because of shady business tactics. [continued below]....

I did a little research on the company and for one I quickly noticed that this is a recurring theme for Massage Envy. They are owned by a subsidiary of Veria who is a subsidiary of the Essel Group, a multi-billion-dollar consortium based in India. If anyone knows how I could build a legitimate case against these guys please let me know.
