Front desk staff is rude, they lie, and keep you on hold for years before you reach someone. When you finally do reach someone, they lie and say they are the manager. When they are not. They do not work with you.

 Corporate is no better. Even the higher ups are rude, and do not listen to the consumer. I can no longer afford my membership and all they can do is "freeze" my account. In my preferred location, the front desk staff consist of little girls (likely mid 20's) who have not one ounce of customer service in their bones. They mislead you, the massage therapist are not presentable (most look unkept and dusty) and again they do not work with you.

If you need a massage, please, I am begging you, DO NOT GO TO MASSAGE ENVY. They have the absolute worst cancellation policy, will not work with you, rude, incompetent staff, corporate is unreachable, they lie, and they do not give you the full story. By the way, good luck finding corporate's number as it is not listed online without doing some heavy searching.

Worst experience ever with a company. $59.00 a month for a mediocre massage. Horrible customer service, horrible policy, just horrible. Horrible, horrible, horrible. I wish I never had to go back. Please heed my warning.

I currently work for Massage Envy and I LOVE it! We have the best management team and I see them going out their for people everyday. The owners Kent and Chris are fantastic to their employees and it shows!!! As a massage therapist I can honestly say we are not "Dusty" ( not sure what that means anyway) or messy. We wear uniforms and we have to look presentable. its just silly for someone to say the therapist looks unkept when we ONLY get paid if work and have repeat clients.

I'm not saying that it doesn't happen but my guess is they are not busy. Massage Envy is one of the only massage corporation that pays for our continuing education credits and they REQUIRE us to be certified through Virginias Board of Nursing. We are ALL certified and we have to take classes on all the different modalities of massage BEFORE we can practice on our clients. We can not just wing it and we are not just "body workers". There is REAL pride in our work and we customize the session to our clients.

I have worked in hair salons / spas and they rip massage therapists off. Plus the atmosphere is noisy. Massage Envy offers a great atmosphere for our clients and therapists. Our sales associates are wonderful and friendly. I used to think Massage Envy was the Walmart of massages before I became a therapist. But it's not at all!!!! I am always booked 2 to 3 weeks out and I perform 25 to 30 massages a week. I could work more if I wanted. We are rocking and rolling! We are turning clients away everyday because we do not have the room. If Massage Envy was so awful then I would think this would be the exact opposite. Our massage therapists are top of the line!

 Don't believe everything you read.....Try it for yourself!!!!!! Massage Envy is wonderful because they focus on THE MASSAGE, not hair, waxing, nails. We do offer facials with Dr. Murad products. I don't think Dr. Murad would put his name behind a "horrible" company either. Again, there is always going to be one person disgruntled because they didn't get their way. Our contracts are laid out very throughly and easy to read. There is nothing hidden in them. You know what your signing before you sign it.
