This person never made a purchase at Massage online Professor

AUTHOR: Massage Professor - ()

POSTED: Friday, May 24, 2013

This person posted a complaint in Feb. 2013 and Massage online Professor did not accept any new course purchases after August 2012 to make sure all students had an opportunity to complete any course work purchased. In late September 2012 the site was taken down due to being hacked. It is a shame that the Ripoff Report does not require verification of complaints and allows anyone to make a bogus complaint such as this. We find this on many meaningless blogs as well like this one where the person signed up in January 2013 just to post more rubbish below. How does one get "personal" information if a person does not volunteer it? Disillusioned poor souls just trying to increase their rankings on Google using our business name for their own purpose.

Seems we were a much larger voice for the massage industry than we ever imagined as for each single dissatisfied customer there are thousands of more than satisfied customers who have a life and too busy to post such nonsense. To set the record straight we had no complaints since our inception as an approved continuing education provider with the NCBTMB since 1998 and provided live and online continuing education to thousands of extremely satisfied state massage licensed therapists without one complaint or issue. We found we only had complaints after we posted our ripoff report about the NCBTMB who took actions against us for going to authorities about being corrupt which we have in writing.

We have had the same complaints made against us over and over again by the same people and all involving the NCBTMB which has misinformed the public about their organization being necessary in the massage field to the public, massage schools and massage therapists. The NCBTMB poses a danger to the public because they do not offer background checks or any type of skills testing and permit their members to pay a fee and claim a certification and then post their information which includes emails, addresses, names and telephone numbers and advertise their claims of bogus proficiency in massage modalities.

In fact massage continuing education providers do not need to be approved by the NCBTMB to offer continuing education courses to renew state licenses. Again we had no complaints until we were part of a set up and smear campaign for repercussions from being a whistle blower. Please see Massage online Professor ripoff report against the NCBTMB. Here are some of our efforts coming to light. Its a start that is going nationwide. http://tbo.com/news/crime/massage-therapist-suspensions-tied-to-human-trafficking-506023 http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/2013-05-19/news/fl-massage-legislation-human-trafficking-20130519_1_massage-establishment-massage-services-human-trafficking

We always wondered how Ms. Olson was in touch with so many massage therapists nationwide in such a short time when her blog deals with being overweight and depression. Maybe someone was feeding her the information, no pun intended. She makes so many ridiculous accusations, i.e. how does one get one's personal information. We posted the same information that a state board posts or the NCBTMB. We only posted the same information and we called it our wall of shame for those massage therapists acting unethically to protect the public because if there were shady with us then most likely there were being shady with the public. Does a leopard change its spots? How did we get Ms. Olson's information? Well for one thing she gave it to us on our fanpage, so we will let her own post speak for itself.

She did like us on our Facebook fanpage and we could never delete her as we tried over and over again but she keep appearing. We did send seven emails to Ms. Olson to inquire as to why we couldn't delete her from our fanpage and why she was posting complaints about us when she admits to never doing business with us. She refused to answer us or post our own words on her website and reinvented our emails to fit her story and those of others. Hint: You will find one anonymous story on her website claiming victim when we called the police on her husband for outright threatening us because we were sticking to our terms and policies after the therapist purchased a course and never logged in until her time limit was up and that was a year later.

We did discover this was a common thread which is weird because why would you purchase a course and then never log in until your time expired and then make trouble like the person who made this ripoff report against us. Wouldn't you file the report much sooner than six months after the fact? They made no mention if they pursued this with their credit card company and just seems they want to keep beating the same dead horse to death and who knows if this complaint is legit. If this story was true then we would have hundreds of complaints and not the scattered, mislead few that we do. All those that made a purchase with us were able to complete their course work. Massage online Professor in the 15 years serving our students has never ripped off anyone but we sure learned how people work who want to rip you off like the many.

many people that Ms. Olson speaks of who made a purchase and never logged in. We never claimed to be perfect but we have always claimed to try and take care of our students in an ethical and honest manner. We were framed along with other good people who continue to be ethical. Teresa Olson Teresa Olson is offline Massage Therapist Join Date Jan 2013 Posts 1 While I have not used Massage Online Professor (MOP) myself I have a very dear friend who did use it and ended up going through a lot of problems with it which I wrote about further HERE Since writing and posting about that incident I have been contacted by MANY MANY people who share the same story of being blocked from classes that they paid for and then accused of being part of some crazy paranoid scheme against Massage Online Professor.

Massage Online Professor would then proceed to post very personal and private information about these people on their website and facebook pages accusing them of things like hacking, harassment, or other very serious criminal charges, resulting in innocent people having their names dragged through the mud. I have also seen MOP and it's owner harass and bully people who have tried to speak up about their experience as a way to shut them up which is why not a whole lot can be found on them. I myself have been quite brutally harassed and threatened and had my own personal information displayed with the declaration that I am a criminal hacker which couldn't be farther from the truth. That is the reason I have been so vocal about all of this, I really want to hopefully prevent more people from getting ripped off, scammed, and hurt by this person and company. Please be very careful about what school or education that you do choose and always do a search for reviews from other students or clients, and if you do end up running into a shady company try to speak out about it so that others can find the information. http://www.massageqa.com/showthread.php?532-have-you-ever-used-www-MassageOnlineProfessor-com-for-online-CEU-som-for-online-CEU-s

I am also unable to access my CE courses

AUTHOR: Melinda - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, February 01, 2013

I selected and paid for CE courses through this provider in March of 2012.  I completed one course right away, but waited to complete the other since I had a year to get it done.  Now that I'm ready to complete my second course, the website is no longer available.  I'm out $48 for an 8 hour CE course.  Way to go, Massage Online Professor!
