I bought a fireplace insert from Mr roops at the massieville general store all on his advice that I would not find a product better or cheaper. Well guess what not only did I find it cheaper but it was $250 cheaper I tried to return his product and he said no refunds " you can't buy a car and return it". What a comparison. he has no refund or exchange policy posted in the store nor on the receipt. I tried to reason with him but he's so professional he hung up on me. What a business man depends on the community to live then slaps them in the face. I've filed numerous complaints on him with the BBB and attorney general. Hopefully word gets around and this guy won't be in business long treating people so disrepectfully.

To the joker that asked how this is a rip off

You must be a complete idiot. or have some affiliation with this store. as you stated on earth all sales are final what are you an alien. And anytime someone sells a product they have the responsibilty to stand behind the product hence a return refund policy. Anywhere in america a company that has any honor or business sense knows if a consumer buys a product and doesn't even open the product it can be RETURNED.Any way your comment shows your ignorance. So like I said before anytime you buy something remember you can never return it according to you so suck it up keep your mouth shut and deal with it. What a Joker

How this is a rip off

Where are you from everyone has a return policy thats why it's called A RETURN POLICY. The rip off is selling a product with no return guidelines. In america if you buy a product and are not satisfied with it you may RETURN it as long as the return policy is followed. I was also lied to and told he was the only dealer that sold this brand name product that was a lie. So maybe you should remember the next time you buy something you don't like or decide you don't want it All sales are final right?

You had no problem with the price when you made the purchase. There is no legal, nor a moral obligation on his part to refund you anything. On Earth, all sales are final unless otherwise stated.

BTW...explain how this is a violation of your Civil Rights.
