I had reported to Match.com customer service that one of their members had committed a crime against my household.  I had reported this to them via phone and internet.

This Match.com member currently has a bench warrant for her arrest in my city for these crimes.

I contacted Match.com and offered to provide them with police reports (both state and federal) as well as physical evidence left in my home.

Match.com's response to me was to advise me to contact law enforcement (??which made no sense, since I'd made it clear that I had already done so), and to inform me that they would require a subpoena for any additional information I would require from them.  Again, this response made no sense since I had never requested any information from them.  The evidence left in my home was more than sufficient to bring multiple criminal charges.

As of this moment, the perpetrator of these crimes against me still has an active Match.com account.  Match didn't even bother to suspend her account for a moment in order to look at my evidence.

It appears to me that as long as a member continues to pay for an account on Match.com, their site administrators do not care what crimes are committed by them: theft, robbery, assault, rape, what have you.  Reader, be aware when perusing Match.com...you may find yourself in my position, and Match will not give half a damn.

When?

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

When did Match.com become a court of law?

Regardless of how you feel or what evidence you think you have this person has NOT been convicted of a crime.  But if in fact she does have active Federal and State warrants somehow I think trying to find a date is not on the top of her list.

You should take their advise and let the police know she has an active account.  They can get a subpoena for her records.  These would include the IP address she is logging in from.  With that they can usually get a pretty good idea of her location to catch her.

Reader, be aware when perusing Match.com...you may find yourself in my position, and Match will not give half a damn.
- Which is why with ANY dating site you need to take precautions.  One of those precautions is to meet them in a PUBLIC place, where if you had done that there would not be evidence in YOUR home.
