In May, 2009, a $1.00 charge appeared on my credit card statement on the same date of another internet charge. There was NO phone number next to the charge, nor a web address, so I had no means of contacting the company at this point. This may or may not be related to Matt Bacak, so I won't list the other company here. However, I NEVER went to Matt Bacak's website (wherever it is!) and requested any newsletter.

Late in May, 2009, I received a phone call when I was sound asleep from someone identifying them as following up on my "purchase from Matt Bacak". Despite my stupor, I was able to tell them that I had NOT purchased anything from Matt Bacak, that any account should be canceled, and no further charges should be made to me. This person proceeded to tell me that they wanted to sell me some kind of consulting services from Matt Bacak, I repeated what I had already said, plus that I did not want ANY further services or goods of ANY kind from Matt Bacak. I did not, unfortunately, have the foresight to get the person's name & number that called.

Today, I reviewed my credit card statement again, and was utterly outraged to discover another charge from Matt Bacak, this time for $29.97 on June 23! How dare they! I have received NOTHING from them, nor did I ever request anything from them. This is obviously a ripoff, since they aren't disclosing their contact information, and they did not honor my cancellation of whatever this is several weeks ago when they called me. If anyone else has had similar experiences with them, please let me know, as well as if anyone has located any contact info on the company. Thanks, everyone!
