I enrolled in this club and realized about 5 days later after receiving the stipulations about "free gas" I did not care to be enrolled. I called and cancelled the account or so I thought. Today I noticed a charge on my credit card for $16.95. Angry I called the max savings club and demanded to know why. They informed me it was 2 different memberships and I only canceled one. I told them that was not explained to me and they informed me they had proof it was.  The membership numbers are the same on both accounts, the initial person selling the memberships to me at any time did not tell me I would be billed for $16.95 two times a month. Of course they would not refund my money. I guess they enjoy ripping off a 66 year old woman. Also think about it, if they do this to 100 people a month which I am sure is conservative especially with old people that is $ 1695.00 a month free money. Shame on these awful people.
