So I went to my bank purchased a cashier check and mailed it certified mail with a receipt now what struck me as weird is that date it was signed for was in the future but I waited to see if materials were going to be sent to me and they never were after that I used white-pages to try and find company they were not listed I feel like such an idiot I should have done research before sending my $200 dollars.

If you would like to see more Rip-off Reports on this company/individual, search here:
Search TipsThe check does not prove that the person is earning money. What one needs to understand is the cost and expenses up front for this type of schema. It is very similar to a pyramid scheme but is in a different form. Also, the expenses up front is what should be accounted before seeing the result as the paycheck.
In this case, $700s check means nothing compared to what one needs to spend before even getting the first check. It is similar to giving the company money to hold on, and then the company gives a portion of the money back to the person. If the person gets excited of the amount of money received, it demonstrates that the person has no idea of how the scheme works because it requires simple maths and planning.
So, it would be the same if you keep the money to yourself rather than spend it and get (a portion of) your own money back in a form of checks.

Debra C is also barking over at the "Preston Lord Enterprises" ripoff section too. She seems to be buried in ENVELOPE STUFFING - besides her side work, which happens to be luring unsuspecting future scam victims and keeping up with her desperate and futile attempts to cover up the FACT that Maxwell Gates, Preston Lord and the rest of the 6-7 "Enterprises" are not a huge SCAM.
I'm surprised that with her "Genius" IQ of 153 - Quote: "You couldn't appear more ignorant at this moment if you tried. I'm quite certain you do not possess a 153 IQ as I do, which is certified, so that is surely an avenue you do not wish to go down with me." Unquote - it took her over ONE WEEK to figure out how to attach an image.
Oh and by the way - Debra C submitted the image on MARCH 3, 2012 - the date of the CHECK is MARCH 21, 2012 (3 WEEKS after she uploaded the image).
And as far as the address for all these "Enterprises" - they ALL use a UPS STORE - RED FLAG!
As for "Debra C" - she(he) is PAID to spend her/his time on the web to redirect any negative feedback for these SCAM "Enterprises".

Or are there some made up instructions, that no-one is capable of following?
That is your excuse for all of the folks here posting a comment or question.
You automatically say, "Well they can't follow instructions" or " They haven't tried the program, so how do they know!" Just to feel you are right and everyone else is wrong!

I would have to receive a check to begin with, in order to receive reimbursement for my postage. It's now been six and a half weeks, and no check! If I refuse to pay MWGe any more money, because they are not paying me back anything in return. Than how do you figure (in your precious little head), it justify's you to tell people that I'm an idiot? I still have money instead of shelling it all out to MWGe for nothing! If I continued to order more of there gag work kits I'm sure my extra money would be gone, and I would be sitting around hopeing that some fake check was coming! In fact I am glad to have found out how you "make" your money, and let all these people know that you and MWGe are full of s**t. And for your information, I followed all instructions to a tee. You are the idiot, who thinks that people are not as smart as you. Only because you are not
very smart! So how do you know when you are stupid? Us smart people have to tell you, because your to idiotic to tell how stupid you are yourself. I hope you and MWGe are enjoying my $126.00!
And to all the consumers that help to better the country by buying things and stimulating the economy. This lady just called us all idiot consumers! I guess Debra doesn't even buy toilet paper to wipe her own a*s. Dirty Girl!! We all consume in some way. A clear display of her un professionalism, self indulgence and she may quite possibly be just another megalomaniac.
For shame Deb! Who made you the MWGe town crier? Pathetic, your words have no integrity, if you jump to insults and name calling so fast.
May all your wishes not come true!
America dose not need, any more vultures feeding on us! And as for MWGe I have sent a letter to attempt to get an update on my progress. And got no response. Welcome to reality!

FIVE WEEKS AND NO CHECK!
AUTHOR: KILLDARE777 - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, September 22, 2012
The flyers were targeted at people who had shown interest in working at home, while taking online surveys and such. It offered work to people that would staple booklets together, for $20.00 a booklet. To possably make $2,500.00 or more a week?
With this came a three page print out of my instructions. It started out stateing that the $10.00 an envelope "that someone responds to", would now reap me $20.00 an envelope! It went on to tell me that I was to write my special code on all the flyers I sent out. So they would know where to send my money. And that I would only be paid for the flyers that people respond to, and pay
there "$99.00 REFUNDABLE FEE".
I was to put the flyers in the envelopes, put the address labels on the envelopes. And then I had to mail them.
But there was no postage sent with the materials? So I read through the instructions to find that, "to insure I was a serious worker". I would need to buy postage for the first set of envelopes sent out. And to fill out a very short permission form at the end of the instructions. Then send my receipt for the postage, and my form to Mw.G.E. That I would be reimburse for the postage , when reimbursed for my initial investment.
They also offered for me to send them another $99.00 to staple booklets together for them. That I would make even more extra money!
And that I could buy fresh names and addresses from them to send flyers to as well. 200 names @ $50.00/ 500 names @ $99.00/ 1,000 names @ $199.00/ 2,000 names @ $375.00/ and 5,000 names @ $899.00!
To just photo copy all the flyers I needed to, from one of the original flyers sent. And that the more I mail out the more I might make.
So I followed the instructions, paid another $25.00 for stamps, and sent out the 49 flyers, my form and my receipt for postage.
Now it's been five weeks, and no check.
Not suprising.
I was trying this because I had lost my job and needed to find any income to make my ends meet.
For anyone hoping to do the same, This is not a way!
So that's what they do to "make " money. From the looks of it they get the initial amount of money you give them to start. Then they have you stuff envelopes, AND pay for there postage. To find more people to send them more money and pay for there postage. To find more people to send them more money...,you get the idea.
Thank you, busy people for your time.

The latest complaint against this company was filed on July 25 2012. Also the fact that you totally jumped on this as soon as I left a reply further reinforces the fact that you are desperate to make them look good by rehashing the same "broken record" over and over when all you are doing is making yourself look like the ass not me.You really need to stop telling me about how you eat ramen noodles and begging money from your relatives, living in a studio apt. but hey I totally understand, you after all claim to only make $660 a paycheck which I'm quite sure and convinced is what you make from your day job and not from a fake company such as gates who continually scams people.
You are probably working as a cashier somewhere and barely making it but hey it's nothing to be ashamed of, I was once there too before started my own company and made my way to true financial independence. You should really read what Robert from Buffalo said, he nails it perfectly and is not gullible to fall for scams like you. Even he recognized the photoshopped check. Well I spent enough time here, my family and i are about to leave for a fun filled day at the beach and some weekend traveling. have fun with your fake money and those ramen noodles.

Really? Over 1 million? And NO ONE will scan and post a PAY STUB to prove their claims? To date, all we've seen is a what appears to be a photoshopped check-not a pay stub. You do know what a pay stub is don't you? That's that silly paper that's usually attached to the paycheck your employer mails to you that has such pesky information as EARNINGS YEAR TO DATE and deduction information. Surely one who claims to get "paid every week" shouldn't have any trouble posting a PAY STUB!
Another shill pipes in with nonsense.

A Sane Question For Ms. Carlucci
AUTHOR: Olivephant - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Sunday, April 15, 2012
A majority of the overall skepticism seems to come from the lack of important details of the opportunity in the offer letter. Obviously, there will be out of pocket expenses for the implementation of the program. On what? For what? Why? (there can be a positive answer to this).
Fair to ask just what is going to be involved, just like any other opprotunity you might consider.
You have mentioned that some have simply not read the info on their packet, or just did not understand it. Debra, I truly want to believe, help me.
So many things brought up in these posts do in fact scream scam, perhaps some additional detail upfront would ease a lot of troubled minds. Copy of the program outline? Some detail that is lacking from the offer? A real NAME of a real individual directly involved with the operation of the company? The sign off on the letter of "Sincerely, Program Manager, Maxwell Gates Enterprises" just appears to cap off the suspicious nature of the offer, once again the lack of credible information-who is in fact the program manager?
Debra, I truly want to believe, help me. If you are on the east coast, I would gladly travel to you for a glimpse of your sucessful operation. Reach me privately if you prefer. Olivephant at live dotcom.
Thank you in advance for you consideration.

I think you do! Tell us Debra, where is "Capital Mailings" incorporated or registered as a business? I can't find it on the NJ Secretary of State website. Additionally, Maxwell Gates Inc. isn't listed on the Secretary of State website either. Why is that?
However, Capital Enterprises Inc. IS the business (parent company) identified as the defendant in the DOW lawsuit. and is registered on the Secretary of State website. Seems to me, that you are unwilling to correctly identify the company and its location. Why is that Debra?
Tell us, what company doesn't have it's business address and telephone number pre-printed on its checks?
I guess it's only a coincidence that the same font is used for the Business information and the payee information. I'm not buying into that for a minute. This stuff envelopes nonsense has been around since The Great Depression.

I covered their account number for obvious reasons.
I think you covered more than that! I think you covered YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS with "MAXWELL GATES INC" and that cute "Honesty, Support, Opportunity" Bwaaahaaaaahaaaahaaahahahaha!
Do you really think that ANY company whose name is Maxwell Gates Inc. (there is suppose to be a period after Inc) is going to spend the money to have checks per-printed with a STYLIZED letter C? The only folks who would have checks made with a STYLIZED letter C are folks who have a name that begins with the letter C, such as YOU-CARLUCCI. LMAO!
Additionally, I fined it suspicious that the name Maxwell Gates Inc is written with the SAME FONT as the payee, date, written dollar amount, and FOR information. Coincidence? I don't think so. I suspect that you merely copied one of YOUR personal checks and substituted Maxwell Gates Inc for your per-printed name and address.
First, you couldn't figure out how to attach an image and now this pitiful attempt to back up your claims. Next time you alter one of your checks, don't forget to lose the stylized C.

I also received letters of business opportunity with MGE for mailing envelopes and booklets. I've held onto it for a few weeks because I want more information and proof that it legally works.
First of all, as usual, I notice a piece of information missing like a phone number..
Now I agree with most candidates that a real job does not cost a penny to do what you want. And one would most ultimately show integrity with complete logo and contact info.
But I also read the few others' positives. I, too, do not want to throw away my hard-earned money. If this TRULY works, not only do I find compliments but I have yet to see check stubs and materials; proof that the MGE is legitimate. (You don't have to show personal name and location where you reside at.)
I am a college student living solely and trying not to drop out with financial hardships.
Debra, Daniel, and other positives,
If you could be kind to attach pictures/docs through email and convince me well with bold confidence that I can do this, that would be great.

If you are a businessman or woman of any kind which I am by the way, your letterhead would include your business telephone number and most likely your cell phone number as well. Come one now, I am not about to send my hard earned money to any one without credentials that can not be substantiated. So please, come on.. those of you who have received checks from MGE, scan them and let us doubting Thomas' see the real deal we are missing out on. Otherwise, you know what Maxwell may be real -or could he be...So go ahead MGE please give us your telephone number.
Thanks, JoAnn

So, if I promise you will make $10,000 a month by stuffing sausages at home (something that is also done for pennies by a machine), you think sending me a few hundred would be a small price to pay?
Wake up, genius! $99 is $99 too much for an imaginary "huge return". It is not logical that you could make any money by doing something at home that is routinely performed by machines. You might compare it to a company offering you big bucks to manually type out the bills they send to their customers, rather than having a cheap computer print them out.
Application of a little common sense should tell you everything you need to know.

The Federal Trade Commission has this and many other work at home scams - how to spot and avoid. Look under Consumer Protection
Most work at home offers are nothing but scams to steal your money - or pryamid schemes .
