I bought a Maytag washer, assumming that I was dealing with a reputable company. one that would stand behind its product.  Boy, was I wrong! I have had nothing but trouble with this washer. I have had the repairman here numerouse times.(obviously he has no more time on his hands, because he is always at my house) The actual drum _ the thing that you put your clothes in and it spins- that fell off twice and the repairman finally ---get this "superglued" it on. No sooner had he fixed that, when the computer malfunctioned. All this time I have had to miss work to be home when the repairman showed up; I have been lugging my laundry to the laundromatt, which cost me time and money.

I have been babying this machine and "playing" with the computer it to make it work. It would say it was finished and I'd go to get the clothes out and they would still be dry. Or_ it would say it was done and it would still be full of water, so I would turn it off and re-set the dial to drain and spin so it would actually drain the water out. This past week the washer computer died completely. Nothing but a hum in the motor...no lights, nothing just a hum.

I called one more time. to be fair to the repairman - he is on his way- but not on a Saturday or a holiday.

I called Maytag. No joy! We don't do ANYTHING after the 1 year warranty. We don't care when the problem started, how many times it happened. We don't care about anything, especially you! We have your money and there is nothing you can do about it.

So, Yes! I was ripped-off and I am not happy! If there are more of you out there, I'd like to know. I am willing to join a class-action. I am tired of being stepped on by big business.
