I just checked an old email account and discovered that McAfee Virus Removal has been charging my credit card for a virus removal tool that came with my old computer. I've never even used the tool! It is 12 days past the 60 days refund policy. No way to get any help. Apparently the store did not uncheck the automatic renewal box. I had no idea!!! Is anyone filing a class action? Can I go back on the store? How does one even KNOW that this is happening during the purchase process if programs are on a trial basis? I am going to my bank on Monday and see if they can help, but according to the reports here, it looks like McAfee is allowed to steal from consumers...

#1 Consumer Suggestion
Call McAfee customer service.

Call their customer service on the telephone and explain the situation. They are usually pretty good about crediting the amount back to your credit card. You can get the telephone number from their website.
Good luck.
