Avoid this company at all costs. McCarty Curtis in Ocala, Florida is the worst court reporter our office has ever had the displeasure of using. Our reporter was incompetent and kept interrupting the proceedings. The transcript copies we received were extremely poor quality. I have asked around, and sadly it seems that our experience seems to be the norm with this company. Do yourself a big favor- unless you enjoy overpaying for poor service and sub standard quality, avoid them at all costs.
They provide terrible transcriptions, bad service, and the owner is known to be a real jerk.
