My experience with Ronnie owner of McCurdy Tires was a nightmare.

I dropped my trailer off to swap out my current axles for new ones with brakes. I was assured a quick turn around, 2-3 days and my trailer would be ready for pick up in the summer of 2014. I called several times through out the next week and was assured my new axles had arrived and the trailer was being worked on.

I called again 7 days later on a Saturday and was assured my trailer was in the shop being worked on and would be ready for pick up later that Saturday afternoon.Ronnie at McCurdy Tires said he would call me when the trailer was ready; of course they never called. I finally get a call from Ronnie, the owner of McCurdy Tires, the following Monday saying my trailer had been stolen from McCurdy Tires parking lot on Sunday.

Ronnie, the owner of McCurdy Tires assured me he called the police and they were checking out the local business cameras to see if any of the cameras caught a glimpse of my stolen trialer. I called the Magnolia Police Department and they informed me no one from McCurdy tires has called, or reported any property stolen. I called again the next day, and meet the Magnolia Police officer at McCurdy tires. The officer informed me the trailer was stolen on a Friday.... wait a minute. I was told on Saturday my trailer was being worked on - on Saturday! How could it have been stolen on a Friday? Ronnie would not give me his inurance company's phone number. He said he had already called them and reported the trailer stolen and not to call them because his agent was on vacation. He finally gave me a brochure with his insurance company's phone number on it. When I called his insurance company, I was told no one was on vacation from their office, and no on from McCurdy Tires had called them, or reported a stolen trailer.

I was told from the insurance company I would be assigend a case number within 24 hours. Of course that never happened either. When I called his insurance comapny back a week later and his agent was like - opps! Let me get on this and I will get right back with you. Of course she never did. I finally called McCurdys Insurance agent one more time and I was told since I only paid $1,000 for my trailer and Ronnies decustable was $1,000 he was not going to file a claim. I told the agent it was my trialer and I was the one filing the claim. He informed me that since it was on his property unless Ronnie filed the claim I am basically out a trailer. I told the insurance agent that I was going to report my bad experiences with the McCurdy Tires, his representation of the insurance agency lack of customer service and honesty; as a F rated experience over the internet. And he said if I did he would sue me. It is a customers right to know who they are conducting business with before going through the same bad experience that I have encountered.

My advise to you or anyone you know is to stay away from Ronnie or McCurdy Tires in Magnolia, Texas and his representing insurance company. In my experience his whole operation is very disceiving and dishonest.
