Is MEDIA-COM ripping you off ? Internet customers,you need to go to the Media-com FORUM on their homepage and start reading all the complaints about SLOW internet speeds.YOU WONT BELIEVE IT!Their is about 3 or 4 tech support people on there and they keep telling the customers the SAME thing over and over.I think they have over sold their equipment power and are in big trouble.Some of the customers on the forum have been complaining for over TWO YEARS and are still being led on.I sure hope a laywer will read this and file a class action suit against them.They advertise 12mbs of speed and just take a look at all of the speed tests provided by customers on the forum.One thread in particular is "Mahomet,Il.=slow service" that person has his ducks in a row and is still proving he is NOT getting what he is paying for.Go there,click on "internet support" and start reading if you are a victim of there slow or unuseable service but are still paying the FULL price.Something needs to be done or they should start refunding our money.

No one is going to file a suit, because, as all other internet providers do, I'm sure Medicom's advertising states " UP TO xxMps ". And that, like all of the other ambiguous terms that various companies use to cloud the issue for consumers, allows them to state almost any number of Mps they desire.
