When I ordered the service, I told the company I had a one bedroom apartment and was moving into another one bedroom apartment. I told them the furniture I have and they would go down one flight of stairs in the old place and up two in the new place. I was told it would take between four to six hours for a three man crew at a rate of $85/hour.

I already had the apartment boxed up so the only thing they would need to do is shrink-wrap the two-tv's, mattress, couch, love seat, and the recliner. They arrived at 0900 and instead of loading the few big things, they loaded boxes at a very slow rate. They did such a lousy job putting the boxes on the truck that there was no room to put the big things so they wanted to make two trips.

The whole time the two men were moving boxes, the third just sat on the truck. I complained to him and called the company to complain about how slow they were moving, no one did anything. When we arrived at the new place on the first load, the two guys slowly un-packed the truck. I once again called the company numerous times talking to a lady, she refused to do anything other than refund me one hour of time.(I made all the calls on my cellphone so I can show documentation of the numerous calls).

By the time they finished un-loading the truck, It was already 5:00 pm and they still had to get more furniture and it was rush hour. We arrived at the apartment and they once again slowly packed the truck and we headed back to the company. When we arrived to the new apartment the second time, I once again called the company and complained and asked to speak to the owner. I was told that he wasn't there.

They finished at 6:50pm. I complained the the supervisor but I signed the paperwork and told him I was going to talk to the owners. The supervisor proceeded to ask me for money for his people for "all their hard work". I told him I didn't have any cash since I spent it on buying them lunch. (the supervisor asked me to buy them lunch so I bought pizza). I told him I didn't have any cash so he said I could write them checks. I told him No and to leave.

I called the owner of the company five times on Friday and six times on Saturday. I even invited him to come view my apartment so he could see how much furniture I had. He refused and hasn't returned any of my calls.

Unfortunately, we cannot find your information in our system. It does not appear that we moved you at all. We need to either get an order number from you or a copy of the bill of lading so we can investigate what happened in your relocation.

It is not Fair that we cannot defend the integrity of our company, if complaints can be filed without proof.
