Meijer #210 Falsify Information and treating employees terribly Grand Ledge, Michigan

First off, I would like to say how terrible Meijer's is at taking care of their employee's. I was an employee once and I they didn't give a crap about me. Many of my friends work for meijer, and they are mentally challenged in some sort of way, and they are working for meijer above and beyond their expectations of what they can and cannot do. But still they are pushed about their limitations and if they can't do it, they are threatened to be fire. Ridiculous!

Second,I also have a family member who worked for meijer's and they also treated him horribly too. They made him do things like lift extra heavy items or work faster without having any sort of accomadations like a back strap for lifting heavy items or knee pads for kneeling on the ground. Thanks to meijer he now has issue's with his knees and massive scaring and large growths where he leaned on his knees for so long. On top of that he was sexually harrassed by a manager and nothing was ever done about it even though my brother reported it several times. His end result was my brother was fired.

Thirdly, My case is they stuck something on my background review that was false information and I cannot get it removed. I called Eaton county, state and city police with no record of this ever happening. But since this has happened I can no longer get a job anywhere that does back ground checks. Thanks Meijer for your hospitalitly. I hope your building sinks in the pit where it stands.
