If it didn't work why would they still be in business
AUTHOR: Grace - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, April 20, 2009I do compliance for a living and I know there are a lot of scams out there. This company has been around for many years. The # of people that use it, sell it or what ever they do is large. When calling a company a scam you should really take into consideration a few factors. One its size and two the time it has been in business.
Look at Wal-mart they have tons of complaints; they also have millions of people that shop there every day. I am not 100% SOLD on the fact that we will make money on this or not, but we went in to this knowing that there was a risk factor.
My suggestion would be if you can not afford to loose the $300 it cost to sign up then don't do it. There are never guarantees on any business venture. W are not wealth people we have a 3 year old and we work our butts off. We took this risk knowing that it may not pay off.
I am sure that if you or your aunt followed the proper steps in cancellation then you would get the refund. It has been my experience that when people fight like this they know they really did not do it all the right way and are looking for someone else to blame. Melaluca is a company that is trying to provide good products. I don't think all of them are as good as they claim but over all I am happy with what I have gotten so far.
When reading the reports I agree with the other man who said there are 8 complaints on here when real scams get way more then that. I also know that not all victims take the time. I just feel that sometimes people like I said are looking to blame someone else when they know they did not follow the necessary steps.
I am not trying to out you I just think they perhaps others need to hear another's point of view to make a truly educated decision. Good luck.

Use some common sense!!

POSTED: Wednesday, March 18, 2009People that read these reports need to use some command sense and put the numbers together like I did. And if you do you will figure out that these claims don't hold water. If they would follow the simple instructions like most people do then they wouldn't have to spend their time writing nasty reports that are incorrect at best.

failure to do the research
AUTHOR: Laurie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 03, 2009I made the mistake of using one of those websites that is supposed to find the right work at home opportunities - BIG MISTAKE! ALL THEY SENT ME WERE SCAMS! I ended up sending an email back to the website demanding they remove my name and contact info. They also had a bogus magazine that when I checked all the ads in it - Again found nothing but scams.
Melaluca was one that I heard from at least 5 different desperate people looking to add to their downlines. Their desperation came through loud and clear in their voices. But a quick internet search told me all I needed to know - it was a SCAM.
There was one company - that I have no idea what they did, but it was one of those ACT NOW or lose it offers. This scam pretended to do a credit check without SS#, and claimed my credit score was just above their minimum requirement.
As I had checked my credit score before I started and knew it was HIGH - I knew they were lying. Those take it now or lose it are always scams.
However I took the time to research all the companies BEFORE I made any commitments.

Multi Level Marketing is never a good thing to a part of!

POSTED: Tuesday, February 03, 2009Well honey good things comes to those that work hard! You shouldn't get involved in a MLM scheme, because one thing is sure, you will get burned! My Aunt Lula tried to get my whole family to join this company a few years about! She touted the almost magical qualities of the Australian Tea Tree and all whole lot bull, in the end she ended up alienating a lot of the family because she drove them all away with her pushing them to go out and sell, sell, sell!
It is never good to involved close family and friends in schemes like these!
I hope you learned your lesson and won't join another MLM scheme again!
