Melanie Pellegrino - BEWARE OF THIS MANAGER! She is Corrupt, Incompetent And VERY Abusive to Staff. Caused Loss of a Major Client's Contract and Several Lawsuits against the Company! Carrollton, Texas

Had the misfortune of working for Manager Melanie Pellegrino at Wingspan Portfolio Advisors located in Carrollton, TX. I saw this woman verbally abuse several associates causing these good employees to quit on the spot. I witnessed Ms. Pellegrino force employees to lie to Bank of America customers when she didn't know the answer to various questions, she would routinely make off color, unethical and disparaging remarks about blacks and immigrants and was woefully incompetent at her job to the point the owner of the firm, Steve Horne, had various positions "created" just for her so she could keep her job as she was a personal favorite of his.

Ms. Pellegrino through her actions with two other terribly inexperienced managers caused the loss of a major client's contract which caused Wingspan Portfolio Advisors to have to lay off over 459 people. Although the company has claimed most of the laid off were reassigned elsewhere in the company this is not the case. Due to the actions of primarily Melanie Pellegrino Wingspan Portfolio Advisors has had to fend off several lawsuit attempts and is currently now under a lawsuit for racial discrimination.

Be careful if you work under this manager as she is hazardous by virtue of her petty, vindictive nature, mean spiritness and incompetence to your health and mental well being. She has destroyed people. If you are looking to hire her, you should know her "credentials" on her Linkedin page are greatly exaggerated to the point of outright lies and she has been coddled at Wingspan Portfolio Advisors and has had a tumultous tenure with very little "achievements" to show for it.
