Does your business have a bad reputation?
Fix it the right way.
Corporate Advocacy Program™
They also do not include miscellaneous charges on their statements, and you find them when you get your bank statement. Who remembers that on "this day or that day" yearly, quarterly, etc. to enter that into your check account? It shouldn't be an "I forgot" moment when you get your bank statement. Put it on the freaking merchant statement. That I see and record as it comes in my mail.
Their customer service people never have the same story or explanation on anything.
Yes, I was stupid for letting them bamboozle me. But, if I can help someone else, I want to. Don't, don't, and did I say don't? do business with them.

You may believe that your company's procedures are honest, but I stand by the fact that I was not given the detailed information book at the time of signing which had the information about the inability to cancel before 48 months. At the bottom of the signature page it references a page and paragraph regarding this. After you left I realized I had nothing to put into my files. When the technician came to install the equipment I had to ask him to provide me with one. I was told this happened on a regular basis. Therefore, I signed a document stating I accepted this exclusion without having the information explained or given to me. I guess I have "a low IQ or am a codger." And, the explanation of everything was done at break neck speed; sign here, initial here, fast, fast, fast. Your head reels. Plus Roxanne got on the phone and made a pretend phone call to her supervisor asking him to waive the $200 set up fee because I would have to pay my current provider that to cancel. It was so obvious that he wasn't on the other line. So cheesy.
I don't care what you say about recouping the amount of money over 48 months that you would have spent on fees. I had a compliant piece of equipment for truncating, etc. My equipment was better than yours. Most merchant services provide you with equipment for free - and definitely (yes, this is how it is spelled) don't charge property tax on it yearly. When I went back to my old provider she showed me on paper in detail just how much I ended up paying in the amount of time I was with Merchant Lynx. I should have taken the time to hold off on signing to be able to compare each line item with the other.
We can go back and forth on this issue until we are all spent. In the end, with any supplier of this type be vigiliant and compare, check references, call the BBB, and TAKE YOUR TIME to make a decision. If the product and company are above board they will be willing to work with you on this.

i am a fabulous salesperson, yes. and i am honest and do not tell lies to my merchants. if you are not blessed with an attentive mind, or an iq, or just plain ol cant concentrate on what i am telling you during our preset appointment because you are a codger, you should probably sell or close your business now before you go belly up or worse....

Take the agreement home and read it and then reread it. Don't get rushed by the salesperson. Don't forget what goes around, comes around. Think about that Roxanne.
