Corporate Advocacy Program™
Account in Oct 1993,
I did call the Company when I recived this latter,
They were very rude and demanded the money,
They said they just recive this notice a few weeks ago on this account,
I want to why all a sudden after all these years this is coming up and how do
I owe this amount and were,
They would not tell me anything,
I know I do not owe this at all.
I feel if someone has my personal information,
I want to know how they got my information to start with.
I do belive this is a scam.
There is so much of this going on in the world today,
We can not trust anyone now.
I get letters like this at least one a week,
including scam of winning money,
I Do Not Tust Anyone !
I do not do Credit Cards at all or make account or loans with any companys.

Steven, JUST LAUGH AT THEM!! That "debt" is UNCOLLECTABLE!!

These lowlife are JUNK DEBT BUYERS. They buy very old usually uncollectable debts of this type for about 1/10th of a penny on the dollar in hopes of terrorizing an uneducated consumer into making even a small payment which would then affirm the debt and make it legally collectable.
Every state has a statute of limitations and a debt from 1993 is out of SOL in any state I know of. The SOL in FL is 5 years.
They are fishing. Everyone with the same or similar name got that same collection letter.

Do not contact them again by phone, if they call you hang up, if you do not reconize a number on your caller ID dont even answer the call. Contact them only by regestered mail, and never give them ANY personal information, not even 1 digit from your SS number, credit card number or bank account.
Like I said read back on some of the other complaints and suggestions on this site, there are tons of suggestions on how to handle these bottom feeders.
Good Luck, and have a great day!!
John
