Merchant's Credit Guide The agent tried to get me to make a payment arrangement by using my checking acct. over the phone or by credit card. The agent said I owed fingerhut and he had my Social Sec. #. to prove I owed this debt. Chicago Illinois

I'm disabled with a terminal illness, and what are you doing calling me asking for payment when I haven't received a bill from you. I have a cell phone, and looked up the company, no such listing exists. I even had a reverse lookup on the phone number with no sucess. This business is bogus, and I want it off my credit report, oh yes, they looked me up on 5/22/08 that's probably how they got my social security number.
