So I had a 1 car garage that is actually 3 cars wide and I have to use wheel dollies to put a second classic car into the middle area so I wanted to put a second single door in to make it a 2 car garage. (no more wheel dollies!)

I Measured the space preped it on the inside, framing ect. and I called up Mesa Garage Door.  They sent someone out we agreed on a price about $800 for a single car insulated door and he asked me to give him a deposit of $100 I did and he was on his way. (we scheduled the install for a couple weeks out)

It was to be installed on a Friday and since I work for the fire dept out of my county I don't necessarily have a lot of free time for this type of thing so they said this specific Friday would be no problem.

I told them to call me the morning that they would be there and i would finish the prep by cutting the wall out which is only wood siding and put the trim board in before they got there so it could be quick and easy for them.

Friday came around and Mesa Garage Door called me and told me they would be there about noon. I started about 9am to make sure I could have it ready to go, cut the wall out framed the opening and primed the trim.

About 1130am I get a call from Mesa Garage Door and am told that my door is not in stock and that they would have it to me Monday. I told them that I now had a huge opening in the front of my garage and could not leave it that way over the weekend. I told them that there is motorcycles, 2 classic cars, tools, a safe and a variety of other things in my garage.

They said they were sorry and there was nothing they could do without the door. I told them I would call them back within the hour.

I called around and found someone that would get the door out to me by 3pm and it was going to cost about the same. I told them to get it going and hung up the phone.

I called Mesa Garage Door back about 30 minutes later and told them that it was unfortunate but since they did not follow their end of the contract and that I have to get this door to cover the hole I would be going thru a different company would would be able to help me.

I also told them that I would want my deposit back of $100.  They told me that since I was cancelling my order I would not be able to receive my deposit back.

I went round and round with them for a half dozen phone calls and ended up with the same out come as the first.  I was left on endless hold over a hour once, hung up on and treated like I had screwed them for not waiting till Monday.  They were rude unwilling to help in any way.
