MetLife Dental MetLife Dental Do Not Want To Pay Legitimate Claim Ocala Florida

I received a deep cleaning or scaling and root planning in March 2013 and my claim was denied for insufficient pocket depth.

When I called MetLife they said the service was not need because the pocket depths are not above 6 millimeter. However, my perio graphic chart shows more than 4 pocket depths above 6 millimeter.

When ask about the chart MetLife said they did not have a chart that show these depths and I should fax it to them, which I did July 16, 2012.

Thirty days later the claim is still denied but now the reason is no apparent loss of attachment (bone loss).  I called MetLife today and ask if both loss of attachment and pocket depths above 6 millimeter are required for the scaling and root planning and was told no.

But now they want evidence of loss of attachment before paying the claim of over $300. This is my second appeal and I feel MetLife simple do not want to pay the claim so another appear is a waste of time.

STAY AWAY FROM ALL METLIFE PRODUCTS AND AVOID THE STRESS.
