Impasse. Metro Mattress offers refund without protecting consumer. Refuses to issue statement upon pick- up of 4th damaged/defective bed that bed has been received by them in good condition (same as delivered "new" three weeks ago) and credited.

Full Refund and Receipt Received

After a lengthy conflict and tense negotiation, Metro Mattress has granted a full refund as requested, along with issuing receipt of product returned in same condition as received.
As for our experience with Metro Mattress, the account of events and personal opinions, we respectfully agree to disagree.

Mr. Clocksin,

     Metro Mattress has been trying to arrange for the refund of your sale for nearly a month now.  Each time we get close, the demands change, and we go back to square 1.  We are currently prepared to give you the certified bank check that you are requesting.  The mattress in your home is not defective, you just dont like it.  You have had several exchanges as a gesture of good faith and nothing more.  Frankly, at this point based on the absurdity of your demands, it seems that you are intentionally creating this turmoil.  Let me make this very clear: you are not allowing Metro Mattress to give you the refund that you are requesting.  We are authorizing this refund not due to any product issues, but because your behavior in the situation is unreasonable.  I am sorry that your account has transpired as such, but Metro Mattress is still trying to refund your purchase so that you can shop elsewhere.  I have now left 2 messages at your home to try and set the delivery date, with no response.
