Metro vanline llc They are crook. Gave me estimate of 1986 dollar and charged me almost 7000 dollar for move. Last minute surprises paterson, New Jersey

METRO VAN LINE LLC IN PATERSON, NJ IS CROOK. RYAN IS THE MAIN GUY AND RALPH IS ESTIMATOR. RALPH CAME TO MY HOUSE AND GAVE ME ESTIMATE OF $1986 APPROX. AND THEN ON DAY OF MOVE 4 MEN AND RALPH CAME TO MY HOUSE. FIRST SURPRISE WAS $500 FOR CRATE . THEY SAID THEY MADE IT SPECIALLY FOR ME. ONLY 4 GUYS , WORKING SO SLOWLY. ONE OF THE TRUCK LIFT WAS NOT WORKING.
THEY STARTED AT 10 AM , EVERY 15 MIN WAS CIGARETTE BREAK. BY 4 PM THEY WERE EXAUSTED. THE ESTIMATOR WAS SO WRONG WE NEEDED 3 TRUCKS , THEY ONLY HAD TWO TRUCK. WE HAD TO LEAVE STUFF BEHIND FOR NEXT DAY PICKUP. NEXT DAY THEY SEND TOTAL OF 10 MEN OFCOUSE AT MY COST. MORE THE MERRIER CONSTANTLY TALKING NO WORK . I EVEN TOOK PICTURE OF THEM TALKING. EVERY TIME I SAY SOMETHING THEY WOULD GET MAD. THEY EVEN FOUGHT WITH MY BUYER AND ME.
FROM $1986 , I WIND UP PAYING $7000. THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO DO SHRINK WRAP, INSTEAD USED PADS. THINGS THAT WAS SUPPOSE TO BE WRAPPED WERE NOT WRAPPED. LOTS OF ARGUMENT, AS RALPH MAIN GUY DISPPEARED DURING THE MOVE. NOONE FROM METROLINE WAS THERE AT THE MOVE, AS THEY HAD GIVEN JOB TO THIRD PARTY CONTRACTOR. ALL THOSE EXTRA CHARGES AT LAST MINUTE: LONG CARRY, STAIRS CARRY, STORAGE FEE, LOTS OF MONEY FOR PACKAGING. ONCE YOU HAVE SCHEDULED MOVE, LAST MINUTE THEY RIP-YOU OFF.
BOTTOM LINE: THEY ARE CROOK. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. STEALER, LIERS, NOT RELIABLE, VERY ARGUMENTIVE, SLOW MOVERS, THRID PARTY CONTACTOR NOT PRESENT AT THE MOVE. THEY ARE MIDDLE MEN MAKING MONEY. VERY BAD ESTIMATOR.

Customer was screaming the whole time at the new home owners that moved into her home, Yelling at my movers, Cursing at the dispatcher. VERY Disrespectful. Lady treated workers like slaves, didn't even offer them a drink or a meal after they worked for her for over 30 hours. The workers are allowed to take a break during a move lady Its heavy furniture. Did not mention items that needed to be moved. Requested over night storage. & More..
Job Estimated @ 1,986.00 for 4 Men & A Truck to bring items from A. to B. with no packing included, no crating included.
Job Took over 30.5 HOURS
Total of 11 Men to complete this job
3 - 26 Foot Box Trucks.
Over night storage facility rental.
Travel between locations.
Loading into storage.
This required items to be packed such as 10 ft. chandelier |
Over 4 Flatscreen TV's / And Mirrors.
And extra stops for another 1 bedroom APT.
If the customer had informed us that the items needed to be packaged by our team, stored by our team, and that we needed to make additional stops. Her estimate would have exceeded $8,000.00 + Just in labor!
Its unappreciative customers like you! that expect movers to slave for you, Don't have any respect for hard manual labor, Expect everything to be done for free!!!. The chandelier we moved was worth over $10,000.00 and your complaining about moving your million dollar home was too much?
You should be ashamed of yourself. Everything arrived safely! Every one of my workers BUSTED their butts for you!!
