When taking the phone to MetroPCS, even if the phone is still under it's original 1 year warranty, MetroPCS charges you between 10 and 30 dollars to get a warranty replacement. Even first year!
There are numerous Android posts about this problem and it appears that Samsung has not been able to fix the problem.
