Do not do business with this fraudulent company!
Metropolis Model & Talent Management is operated by a woman calling herself Elle O. Oliver, but she has gone under different names in the past. She is a scam agent who dupes people into paying her hundreds of dollars in start-up costs and then refuses to pay them for the work that they perform while under contract. I did several commercials while signed to this agency and Metropolis refused to pay me a dime--they kept all of the pay for themselves. When I challenged them, they insulted me repeatedly and goaded me into going to court.
I have been in contact with a lawyer and several of the clauses in the Metropolis contract are illegal and cannot be included in an agency contract in Canada. Do not sign anything, do not give them any money, and report these criminals! There has to be a way to shut them down and protect other potential victims!
