Let's see, my husband and I paid a $150.00 non refundable "pet fee" per dog totaling $450.00 at the beginning of our rental agreement. Our rental agent failed to notify us of any of the HOA regulations nor were they included in the rental agreement. Fast forward a year and a half later, a ridiculous amount of unfounded late fees for "late rent payments" although I pay online and have date stamps on all of my transactions, HOA fines for "weeds" but no one can produce a letter from the hoa and now apparently the HOA attorney has filed a suit against the property for improperly keeping up with lawn and weeds. Now I've taken the liberty of photographing the yard throughout the past 5 months to be proactive and when I demand to know why there's not been any notification from the HOA, Erica Sosa indicates she's not been notified by the HOA and not it becomes a redundant and ridiculous game of HE SAID SHE SAID!!. The rent is not cheap and the home is very well maintained and the fact that we're being fined $300.00 when our lawn was clean and we've been pulling weeds every week is insult to injury quite frankly. The lack of follow up from the rental agency is ridiculous. Our fridge broke and we were without a fridge for 3 days until they dispatched someone, all of the food went bad because it was in the middle of summer. The garbage disposal broke and we had to place two orders to get someone to respond and repair it. It's not been a pleasant experience to say the least and I CANNOT WAIT TO MOVE!@! We will notify them of our intent to move sometime in October and be out completely then. In dealing with this rental agency I've learned pictures are worth a thousand words so take pictures of the home inside and out and keep a log and record of them. Sad but true.....
