They refuse to pay the employee's.! When I started working there they changed over from Sunset Massage to Slim Trim Spa and less than a year after opening in Boca under this name they are changing ownership and company name now to Miami Foot and Tea Bar. They will not pay me or any of the other 5 employees. I worked for 72 hours for free? I spend every night washing sheets at the laundry mat out of my own pocket (except for a few times that I was told to use petty cash) because they would not pay for it just told me to cancel appointments. We were told to fill the water bottle up from the bathroom sink so I paid for that. The employees cleaned the office nightly because there was no cleaning services. The only sterilization of the tables and ultra sonic machine was disinfectant wipes we bought from the dollar store. We paid for all of the candles as well. Now they will not pay us! If this is how they treat the employees...well the complaints against Slim Trim Spa says it all. We brought the complaints down to people really happy with the Boca Store and the way they were treated and this is the thanks for it. Miruim Rodrigues in the Florida City Office told us we were just SOL because the new owner will not assume the responsibility how is this legal that you can hire people and not pay them? The pay period before the June 1-18 they wrote me a check that bounced and I had to wait 2 weeks to get paid for that one. Is this just bad business practice or illegal business practices?
