The individual that scammed went under the name of Michael J. Wilson, having reported that he owned a home in Chicago and rented in NYC. He gave the premise of being on a business excursion in Turkey and operated under the guise of Archela Timbers. This individual stated that he would be away for a couple of weeks. He "ran into trouble" as Turkey only accepts cash in the area, and asked for an amount of money so he could get back to the states. After being sent, he asked for a very large amount for taxes due (cash) on his timbers. In a attempt to gain access to my banking account, he tried to set up an account so he could transfer his money into my account. I didn't trust that so I changed all my passswords and nothing ever happened. After the initial money that I sent, I sent smaller amounts, and then the situation was never rectified...he always needed something else, so I simply refused to do more and told him to figure it out himself. All in all I'm down a couple thousand, not as much as someone else was duped! Yet still, to use the religious beliefs as bait is heinous at it's best!
