My friends gave 140,000 dollars to them for a nightclub after they were told it was "a sure thing" and they"can't lose" because they were only paying the worth of the property and getting the business for free. After the club had been open for months and they weren't getting their checks Michael Laughlin avoided their phone calls for several months before the city closed down the club because of codes they knowingly violated. They ran back to Florida to run their ti**y bar, telling angry investors "that's how business works. You lose money sometimes." They didn't even get the value of the "sure thing" property back!Not when it's other people's money. Now my friends had to get another lawyer because they're being sued due to these incompetent's neglegence. These people are scum and left many people broke while they continue their lives as before.
