Mike Allsbrook may be a talented umpire but he has a not so good talent of STEALING from childrens baseball teams. In August 2007 Mike Allsbrook was hired and paid $500 to attend Cooperstown Dreams Park with the Tribe. On the Saturday after arriving at Cooperstown, Mike Allsbrook contacted another umpire at the complex and asked him to tell the Coach that he was unable to make it to Cooperstown due to a family emergency. (As a little background information Mike Allsbrook had asked to borrow $1000 from the team a week prior to receiving the Cooperstown money because of a family issue, a family member was in some sort of rehab and the were in need of money. It was explained that the team was unable to do so.) Upon Coach receiving this information he tried to contact Mr. Allsbrook for the return of the money to the team he was unable to be reached. he never returned calls and basically disappeared. How can an individual be so cruel. He is stealing from boys these kids are 11/12 years old and they do fundraisers to get this money. Our team is returning to Cooperstown and coach decided that he wanted to attempt to track down Mr. Allsbrook to get an umpire based on the $500 he still owes our team and I came across his history of ripping children off. I hope he is exposed for the criminal he is. He deserves to have criminal chrges brought against him. Do not do business with him he is not trustworthy. Do not pay him until services have been rendered. Our children work hard to raise money and for someone to steal it from them and have no remorse is inhumane. I hope he is stopped.
