Michael and Jenny Snoeckstate that they are licensed FL contractors, they have professional business stationary and invoices.  They pose as custom cabinet makers and have a portfolio of porjects they have done in the past and a list of references.

They work very hard on the project and act very professional.  They get the project to a point about halfway into the project at which point they have installed about $2500 worth of cabinet shells.  Then they tell you that all of the cabinetry is ready to go and they will install it as soon as they get the next installment of the total contracted amount (they do provide the customer with a signed contract).

As soon as you pay them the next $5000, they do not show up the next time they are scheduled but they do call with an excuse (i.e. my grandmother is ill in Port Richy, my car broke down, my wife hurt her back, the stain is sticky, etc.) they put you off until they know for sure the check has cashed and then you may hear from them once in 3 weeks!

This couple has requested and accepted about $10,000 from us for custom cabinetry.  We have nothing but shells up at this time and it has been 5 months.  Now and then they send a text to us saying that they will be over this weekend.  They have to text because their phone fell in the rain water and the voice portion no longer works!  

Do not give them money.  They are not licensed in the state of Florida, they lied about that.  Michael has an arrest record in the state and they may or may not have completed other projects in the area.

Do not trust them.  THey occasional advertise on craigslist also.  They drive a large white cargo van, are both caucasion and may have a drug or alcohol problem.
