Anonymous and Kyang are exactly CORRECT when referring to how Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD. operate.  Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD. is the most UNETHICAL law firm that I have ever been an unfortunate client of.  The tactics of Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD. are to draw you in BOASTING on the cases they claim to have won.  While at the same time, seeing you as their next VICTIM.  They will follow the process EXACTLY as Anonymous has stated.  Constantly giving you EXCUSES for the EXCESSIVE continuances made in court (I DO mean EXCESSIVE too), and doing absolutely NOTHING to get your case resolved.

Allowing the case to go on and on.  Year after year.  Yet you still see NO results in your case.  All you do see is your case being dragged out, the prosecutor LYING to a court judge and violating your rights with NO representation from Michael T. Norris or John W. Callahan LTD. in your defense to counter the prosecutor's accusations, your wallet being drained and NOTHING being done in court for you on your case.  Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan simply stand there in court and say NOTHING to represent you.  Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD. just continue to drag out your case, for YEARS!  SEVERAL YEARS!

While all during this EXCESSIVE process, Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD. are REPEATEDLY demanding ADDITIONAL payments be made to their law firm as the case continues through their own doing.  These fees are EXCESSSIVE to say the least.  Yet they (Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD.) DEMAND these payments, or they will try to get the court judge to release them from their legal obligations of representing you.  AFTER you have already paid them TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars in fees with NOTHING being done in your case.  Basically, Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD. sitting at square one.

REFUSING to lift a finger to help you.  Getting NO results for your case, while they are collecting HUGE amounts of money from your wallet.  Taking your money, trying to SELL YOU OUT and allowing you the opportunity to get convicted at the same time.  Even after becoming aware that their "colleague" on the opposition has BROKEN the law and VIOLATED your rights.  REPEATEDLY! Callahan LTD.) will then LIE to the court judge, and try to make it look like it is you (the client) who is causing all of the problems and delays with the case.  When it is actually they (Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD.) who are the real cause of all of the problems and NUMEROUS delays.  Further stating to you, (after following their advice on the best way to get your case won), that YOU (the client) made the decisions as to how the case was to be resolved.  When it was Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD. who made these decisions as to how your case would proceed.  How does a "client" make the decisions (motions) as to how your case is to proceed in court?

Callahan LTD. even expect you (the client) to do their investigation work for them.  Demanding that you supply all of the information that the investigator whom you (the client) have already paid for is supposed to acquire.  Interesting work ethic.  You (the client) do their work for them, yet they (Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD.) collect the attorney fees.  It is quite OBVIOUS that the law firm of Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD. only have their focus on their WALLETS being filled and NOT your best interests.  I know.  I spent a HUGE amount of money, and for years got NOWHERE on my case.  My case simply got continued and I had to pay more and more fees.  Year after year.  All because Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD. don't want to do anything and just want you to pay them their fees.

The case which I was associated with was so clear cut, that a FIRST YEAR LAW STUDENT could have won the case.  WITHOUT having to spend the EXCESSIVE amount of time in court or the HUGE fees that I was charged by Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD...  NOTE.  Not even MURDERERS get the EXCESIVE amount of court appearance attention or the CONTINUOUS aggravation and frustration that I had to go through.  As a result of the UNETHICAL actions of Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD., I lost EVERYTHING in my life.  EVERYTHING!  My job, income, home, wife, marriage, family, credit, EVERYTHING you can imagine. GONE!

My best advice is, if you are in need of an attorney to represent you, (a REAL attorney), do NOT hire this firm.  They WILL BLEED YOU DRY and you will suffer in EVERY way imaginable.  Also, if your case requires the release of a portion of your bond to be utilized for the defense by Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD., do NOT expect to get a receipt.  Michael T. Norris and John Callahan LTD. will REFUSE to provide the receipt to you.  Telling you that you are NOT entitled to it.  In addition to the ARROGANT and DISRESPECTFUL attitude they will give to you throughout your case after you have already paid HUGE fees to their law firm. REFUSING to listen to ANYTHING you request from them, or instruct them to do.  What ever happened to the idea "the customer is always right"?  I guess it only pertains to those who possess very DEEP pockets to fill their wallets over at Michael T. Norris and John W. Callahan LTD...

Michael Norris continue case for a loooong timeand then charge more money in name of personal investigator or else. He will promise you win the case in pretrial and then come up with something else and suggest trial and ask more money for that. When you meet him he will promise you lots of things but thenyou will feel cheated from very first court date. Give your case to him if you want to loose ifafter loooong tough waitting time.

I found this site while looking up Michael Norris' e-mail address in Google to send him a thank you for his VERY successful work on my case. I was floored to read the comment posted about Mike and his law firm. From reading it, I can only guess that the poster was not expecting such a long court fight. No one can predict how long a court case will take, and yes, the longer it takes, the more money it costs. Is Mike Norris cheap? No, but nothing good is. You claim they ask for multiple continuances? Did you ever ask why? I really don't think it was so they could charge you more money. As far as needing to hire a private investigator? Well, if it is a criminal case, wasn't the case against you built by an investigator from the police dept? How can that be refuted in court, unless another investigator goes out and interviews witnesses and seeks evidence on your behalf? I would and do recommend Mike Norris to anyone I know that needs an excellent defense lawyer. No one in his law firm ever told me "they knew the judges in Cook County" or promised me anything. Wait, I take that back, they did promise me that they would work as hard as they could to make sure justice was served in my case, and that is EXACTLY what they did. If they were on a "Five Star" rating system, I would give them six stars, that is how impressed i was with them.
