I bought an HP Desktop "slim Line" from HP in May 2010.
It has crashed at least six times. Thankfully, I made the recovery disks and was able to get things back with an online backup service. I must have called HP support 20 times. Useless!
I suggested at one point it was the horrible Windows 7 and IE 7. Their answer "sorry we cannot help you with that it is not ours we don't support it". Even though they installed it when I ordered the computer, it was my only choice. The agent helping me configure the PC told me we have to do what Microsoft says. Called Microsoft two months after owning the machine and got "for a fee of $69.95" we can maybe help you. Finally got someone from HP corporate to call with this offer "oh just send it back we'll wipe everything out and start over". Now there is a solution. Microsoft products are a rip off they have one goal make money and be damned the average person.
Well Microsoft, the competition is heating up, and I for one am leaving your crappy products in the dust.
