Midland Credit Management, Inc. MCM Sent me a bill for $807.39 naming T-Mobile as Original Creditor - this is false! San Diego, California

Midland Credit Mgmt. (MCM) is making attempts to collect a bill from me for $807.39 they claim to be for the Original Creditor T-Mobile account No. 372540555. The collection letter is from H. Torres, Division Manager for MCM.
I have not had an account with T-Mobile ever, ever. The letter from MCM assigned an MCM account number to me of 8553088840. From the letter:
"Your past due balance of $807.39 with T-Mobile is being reported to credit reporting bureaus and remains a negative item on your credit report."
This appears that they are try to scare me into paying a bill that I never created or responsible for.
