Midland Credit Management reported to equifax will not validate debt wants me to release cease and desist letter so they can send validation that i requeted 1 year ago San Diego California

I received a call from a rude employee demanding that i pay a debt that i did not recognize this person try to get information like my ss# etc. When I would not play along he became angry and started to scream about i have had plenty of time to pay the debt and i need to pay . I had a few calls after that and i decided to ask for validation of the debt to say the least i never received the validation and they called again. After a while i just didn't answer the calls and decided to send a cease and desist letter.

Recently i pulled my credit report a yes there it was. I disputed the debt and it came back valid throught the credit bureau. So last week i called the credit burea and prompted another investigation but this was after i had made another call to midland. The person tried again to verify information which i refused again to give but he did say if i would send a letter removing the cease and desist he would send me valadation. Yeah right!!!!

I can get all the infrormation i want over the phone but to get it in writing i need a release.The company that they said that purchased the account for also shows on my credit report with the same dates as midland. I will continue to dipute both accounts until they get tired of responding to the credit bureas investigations. They are scum of the earth so you have keep on top of them
