AFFIDAVIT TO BE FILED WITH Santa Maria Police Dept Report

I received a phone call from a former roommate in Los Angeles. She said that a summons was delivered to my old address.  She received the summons without my permission, however, she gave me a phone number to call for a Midland Credit Mgmt agency. 

I called Midland Credit Management (MCM) at 866 626 5053 from my cell and spoke to a Benjamin Brown, he claimed call was recorded and was attempting to collect a debt.  He claimed he was in the "Internal Revenue Dept of MCM" and that I was being sued.  I didn't want to give MCM my new address initially, however, on a return phone call I gave them my address and asked them to send correspondence to this address.  Mr. Brown claimed that the original creditor was HSBC bank and that the charges were made on a "Metris" credit card account #**** **** **** 5464.

I called HSBC (bank) at 716 841 7212 and an automated answering machine of the bank found no record of account #**** **** **** 5464 and no record of my Social Security number.

I then called Jerry Lulejian about 2:55PM from my cell phone who works for the

He advised me to get control of credit by freezing it, also advised me to call LA Dist Atty. At 3:07pm I called 213 974 1452 - Consmer Hotline for Dist Atty of Los Angeles Advice given was to check credit report and send certified letter to MCM (address below)

Also advised to file a police report immediately, to have original documents in hand when filing report.  Let's get a class action together and sue the pants off of MCM!
